People seem to gravitate to the modern songs as the best in NV. I have to say I am loving this game so far. Game wise. And I understand where past Fallout games made 50's music the official music for the Fallout Series. It made sense. The character jumped into a Vault in the 1950's and spent their lifetimes in the Vault with no outside interaction, thus they would have had their old 50's records. The ones used in game are just audio ripped from the Vault Archives sampled in 192kbps 48000hz, while mine are in 128kbps 44100hz from the soundtrack CDs and sound more clearer and less fuzzy.
